I want to disappear.
I wish I could simply disappear. Vanish like a soap bubble. One moment she shines bright and iridescently, and then – zap – she’s gone. As if she was never there in the first place.

I once read Aboriginal Australians are the only known culture without belief in an afterlife. From what I remember reading decades ago… We walk in the sand leaving footprints… After we die the wind erases our footprints… Whether true or not, this emphasizes living in the eternal here and now.
